Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a leadership development program run by Rotary. Participants must be juniors in high school. RYLA is a three day camp held every year in the spring and includes team activities and workshops that develop leadership skills and help the participants create life-long friendships. The focus RYLA is on:

Leadership fundamentals and ethics
Communication skills
Problem solving and conflict management
Community and global citizenship

How can I participate in RYLA?

Follow RYLA on Facebook to learn about inspirational events happening around the globe.

RYLA participants are nominated by local Rotary clubs. Our club usually nominates 16 students. Students seeking a nomination must complete an application and go through a series of interviews performed by members of our club.
