The Las Vegas Rotary Club has a tradition of thanking each week’s speaker at our meeting with a certificate in which our club makes a donation to the USO of Southern Nevada in their name. The USO (United States Overseas) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to active duty service members, veterans and their families. The first center opened at McCarran Airport in early 2010.

USO Las Vegas provides a home away from home and a sense of community for the 32,245 active-duty troops, 4,760 National Guard personnel, Reservist, and their families based in Southern Nevada. We offer morale-boosting and family-strengthening programs, deployment and re-deployment support to help our troops adjust to the duty ahead, resiliency training, discreet and compassionate support for Families of the Fallen, as well as passenger terminal assistance for troops and loved ones alike. Since 2010, USO Las Vegas has served more than 155,000 troops and their families.

There are currently four centers in the Las Vegas area, two at McCarran Airport, one at Nellis Air Force Base and one at Creech Air Force Base.

The Las Vegas Rotary Foundation, Inc. (“LVRF”) is registered with the Nevada Secretary of State and qualified by the Internal Revenue Services as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 88-0403571). Established in 1998, LVRF supports the Las Vegas Rotary Club.
