Toni Kern retired from a 29 year practice of law as a civil defense litigation attorney in So. California at the end of 2015, returning to Las Vegas where she finally had the opportunity to join the Las Vegas Rotary Club in 2017. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Las Vegas from age 10, Toni returned to California, attended UCLA, worked for a short time in insurance claims and private investigations before attending law school and becoming an attorney. While in California and before retirement, she was essentially a ‘de facto’ Rotarian for many years, attending and participating in Rotary events as the wife of a California Rotarian involved in local and District Leadership. The opportunity to participate in charitable functions has provided enormous purpose and pleasure to her in retirement.
