President of Crocket Management, Caty is a former bank officer and art gallery owner. She is a native Las Vegan and a graduate of UNLV. Caty first joined the Las Vegas Rotary Club in 1988 and first served as its president in 1995.

Her other community involvement has included the Junior League of Las Vegas. The Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow, Nevada public Radio, the Las Vegas Philharmonic and the Las Vegas Art Association. She is also a past chair of the University Libraries Advisory Board on which she still serves.

She has a daughter and two grandchildren.
